Our 1st Mahachai Spawn - Cute Betta Babies

2 weeks ago at the Betta show, Dave got his pair of Betta sp. Mahachai and named them Anakin and Amidala. They’ve spent their time flirting and Anakin has tried to start bubblenests several times - only to have them mysteriously disappear on him. We needed to have them wait until we got the bbs supplies ordered from DFS.
This morning Anakin finally got the bubblenest that he’s been working on this weekend to meet Amidala’s approval and they appear to have had a successful spawn. He’s now keeping watch over the nest.
